¶ What is the Opportunity Router section used for?
The Opportunity Router section allows you to create and manage Opportunity routers that assign Opportunities based on predefined rules.
¶ How is an Opportunity selected for routing?
To route an Opportunity:
- Use a Boolean field in Salesforce.
- Set its value to True.
- In LeadAngel, select this field as the Opportunity Router Feeder in the Details tab.
Note: Once routed, the value is set to False. To re-route, reset the field to True in Salesforce manually or via trigger.
¶ How do I create a new Opportunity Router?
Follow these steps:
- Log in to LeadAngel
Navigate to: Opportunity Management > Opportunity Router - Create a new router
- Right-click and select New Opportunity Router
- Click + New Opportunity Router
- Enter a Name and Description
- Click Save
- Add Routing Blocks
Use drag-and-drop to add blocks like:- Decision Block (Opportunity Filter)
- Segment Block
- Assignment
- Action Block
- Update to CRM
- Random Split
- Update Data Value
- Select Assignment Type in the Assignment block
Choose from the dropdown:- Assign to Sales Rep – Assigns to a selected rep.
- Assign to Sales Team – Uses round robin.
- Assign to Weighted Sales Team – Based on assigned weights.
- Do Not Assign – Opportunities are not assigned to any sales person, and are skipped the entire routing flow.
- Set Additional Options (Optional)
- Assign to AE-mapped SDR
- Assign based on last activity owner
- Route to latest owner in Custom Group
- Trigger process or flow builder
- Send notification email
- Slack notification
- Ms Teams notification
- Assign to reps with active working hours
Click Save after configuration.
- Configure Default Owner & Data Update
- Click Details Tab
- Default Opportunity Owner – Fallback rep if no rules match.
- Data Value Update – Update CRM field when assigned to default owner.
- Opportunity Feeder Filter: Select the custom field value of the opportunity (which is set as "True" in CRM) for routing.
- Click Details Tab
- Approve the Router
- Right-click on the router
- Click Approve
