Account affinity refers to the historical relationship between a specific account and a salesperson. When enabled, LeadAngel uses this historical mapping to prioritize lead assignments, ensuring that future leads from the same account are routed to the same salesperson who handled it previously. This helps maintain continuity and strengthens existing account relationships.
This option assigns leads based on the historical affinity between accounts and salespersons. Each time a lead is routed, LeadAngel creates a mapping between the Company Name (either new or existing CRM accounts) and the Sales Rep.
When the option "Prefer Historical Sales Person to Account Affinity while Assigning" is selected in the Assignment block, leads in the current assignment block prioritize this historical mapping over the regular assignment rules. If no historical mapping exists, leads are assigned according to the selected option in the Assignment field.
